Gerry Verano
DJ • Producer • Label Founder • Electronic Music Artist
Gerry Verano is a DJ, producer and one of the driving forces behind the independent electronic music scene of Digital Room Records.
His journey into electronic music began at the age of 14. What started as a fascination with electronic sounds developed over the years into a lifelong passion for DJing, music production and the culture surrounding the dancefloor.
Inspired by the energy of Ibiza, the atmosphere of clubs and the emotional connection created through electronic music, Gerry Verano has developed his own musical identity — combining groove, atmosphere and energy across House, Deep House, Minimal, Tech House, Melodic House and Techno.
His music is driven by one central idea:
Music is connection. Music is emotion. Music is energy.
From DJ to Label Founder
Gerry Verano's career took an important step forward in 2012, when he signed his first major record deal with German label B12 Records and met Mark Feesh. Together they founded the Ushuaia Boys project, combining their passion for House music and electronic production.
When B12 Records closed its doors, Gerry Verano, Mark Feesh and Dany Sativa decided not to wait for another opportunity — they created their own.
On January 14, 2013, Digital Room Records was founded.
What began as an independent record label became a long-term creative platform for artists, producers and DJs from different parts of the world. Gerry Verano has remained closely connected to the label's artistic development ever since, both as an artist and as one of its creative forces.
Today, Digital Room Records represents a growing international artist family and a broad spectrum of electronic music.
Chart Success & International Recognition
Gerry Verano and Ushuaia Boys achieved their first significant chart successes between 2015 and 2016, with productions including Sunset in Miami, Psycho, Summer, Sex on the Beach and 18 Years of Love appearing in the Swiss, Austrian and German Dance Charts.
His international profile continued to grow through collaborations and productions with artists from different parts of the electronic music scene.
In 2019, Gerry Verano and DJ Daniel Wilson released We Love House Music, a track that became one of the defining releases of his career. The production reached #4 in the Beatport Tech House Charts, as well as chart positions in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
Further releases such as Feelings and Mauritius continued the successful collaboration with DJ Daniel Wilson and Ushuaia Boys, generating additional chart recognition across international electronic music platforms.
Gerry Verano and Mark Feesh have also worked on remixes for established international artists, including KC & The Sunshine Band, Tony Moran, Nile Rodgers and Rozalla.
The Sound of Gerry Verano
There is no single formula behind a Gerry Verano production.
His sound is constantly evolving.
Deep grooves, minimalistic rhythms, warm House elements, melodic atmospheres and driving Techno influences come together to create music that can work both on the dancefloor and through headphones.
His DJ sets follow the same philosophy: energy without losing emotion, groove without losing depth.
From warm sunset moods and melodic journeys to deeper club sounds and driving late-night rhythms, Gerry Verano sees electronic music as a journey rather than a genre.
A New Chapter
In 2026, Gerry Verano continues to expand his musical universe through new collaborations and productions.
One of the highlights of the year is AmaLuna, his collaboration with Norbi da Silva. The release developed into a dedicated remix project, with four producers — Gwrach, Amalunoo, Deepeak and Rave-N8er — bringing their own interpretations to the track. The AmaLuna – Remixes package was released worldwide on Digital Room Records in August 2026.
At the same time, Gerry continues to explore new musical territory with Angelic Menzwina. Their upcoming collaboration MOYO moves into the world of Afro Melodic House, combining deep rhythms, emotional melodies and atmospheric elements.
These collaborations represent an important part of Gerry Verano's current artistic direction: working with different artists, cultures and musical influences while maintaining his own identity.
Radio & Media
Radio has always been an important part of Gerry Verano's career.
From 2010 to 2017, he hosted Club Ibiza on Radio FRO. Since 2015, he has also been connected to his own Digital Room Radio.
Between 2020 and 2021, Gerry held a residency on the French web radio Radio Eibiza.
His international radio presence continued through collaborations with UK-based radio platforms and DJs, allowing his music and DJ sets to reach audiences beyond the traditional club environment.
From the Club to the World
Throughout his career, Gerry Verano has performed at clubs, events and electronic music showcases in Austria and internationally.
His references include Fabric London, where he appeared in connection with the London Music Conference, as well as venues in Austria and Tunisia.
But for Gerry, the size of the club has never been the most important factor.
The connection between DJ, music and audience is what matters.
Whether playing for a packed dancefloor, broadcasting a radio show or creating a new production in the studio, the goal remains the same:
Create moments people can feel.
Digital Room Records
As co-founder of Digital Room Records, Gerry Verano is not only focused on his own artistic career.
He is also committed to creating opportunities for other artists.
Digital Room Records has grown into an international independent platform featuring artists from different countries and musical backgrounds. Its catalogue moves across House, Techno, Trance, Melodic House, Progressive and other forms of electronic music.
The label's current showcase concept, From Sunset to Sunrise, reflects this philosophy — taking audiences on a musical journey from warm Afro & Melodic House through House and Techno toward melodic and progressive sunrise sounds.
Today
More than a decade after founding Digital Room Records, Gerry Verano continues to evolve.
He remains a DJ.
He remains a producer.
He remains a label founder.
But above all, he remains an artist who believes in the power of electronic music to connect people.
From the early days of discovering electronic music at 14, through international club releases, chart success, radio shows, collaborations and the creation of his own record label, the journey continues.
