From Streaming to Collecting

Streaming changed how we access music.
It made everything available, instantly and endlessly.

This convenience shaped listening habits. Music became something we pass through rather than stay with. Tracks appear, disappear and are replaced before they have time to settle.

Collecting follows a different rhythm. It asks for intention. Choosing a piece of music to own — digitally or physically — creates a pause. A decision. A relationship.

Music NFTs reintroduce this idea in a modern form. They don’t reject streaming, but they question its dominance. Collecting turns listening into presence. Music becomes something you return to, not just move past.

From streaming to collecting is not a step backward.
It’s a shift toward meaning.
